RSGVP And SMA Kendra India is a value driven organisation at the entry level of healthcare delivery (Primary Care) which fosters productive relationships within all sector of healthcare to deliver change and spread innovation in national healthcare delivery. It engenders enthusiasm, entrepreneurialism and esteem within its membership and outside, recognising that failure to execute good ideas and support best practices is the single most prevalent cause of poor outcomes in health.

The 7 Point Plan to deliver our priorities

1. Defining value of Healthcare around outcomes that matter to patients
  • Promote a proactive approach to care collaborating with patients to build their resilienceand increase their capacity for self-care

  • Ensure systems are designed to provide care based on an individual's health and wellbeing goals

2. Supporting new models of Primary Care through collaborative networks
  • Enale collaboration through networks, federations and accountable care organizations to deliver services effectively in appropriate settings

3. Aligning incentives and contractual models based on Accountable Care Principles
  • Develop payment and contractual mechanisms that support new approaches to the provision of care sensitive to the needs of local populations

4. Developing a workforce that is responsive to the needs of the population, not fixating on any particular professional group
  • Promote development of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients seamless care appropriate to their needs

  • Develop the skill mix of health professionals and re-engineer, re-educate and re-train the workforce to enable them to work across organizational boundaries and in new ways which is in consonance with 21st century needs

5. Supporting real time innovation across collaborative networks to demonstrate new models of provision to promote integration of care around patients and populations. Support community based forums such as PPG (patient participation group) to have their say in their own healthcare needs
  • Improve population health outcomes through localisation of education for healthcare professionals

  • Empower community organizations to work together to assess workforce training needs

  • Expand capacity for training in the community to innovate in the field of training and deliver multi-professional training

6. Advocating and supporting Education and Training in Family Medicine and healthcare professionals in Primary Care field. Serve as independent Accreditation Body for various training Programs/ Courses/ Fellowship/ CME/ CPD in Primary Care for all Primary Care professionals

7. Influencing Policy to support the ambitions above
  • Working with key strategic partners and policy makers to influence and develop policy strengthening the voice of primary care and providing greater co-ordination and integration of secondary and tertiary care

  • Working closely with the government and WHO to implementnational and global causes for better health outcomes for all
